Find out more about the personal lives of authors including their signature drink, favorite decade in fashion history, and the artists that inspire them in my author interview series.
Author I draw inspiration from: Harlan Coben
Favorite place to read a book: In bed
Book character I’d like to be stuck in an elevator with: The clown from IT. I'd talk with him about his feelings.
The moment I knew I wanted to become an author: Reading the Hardy Boys books growing up and being unable to put them down
Hardback, paperback, ebook or audiobook: Used to be paperback, but I've started reading more and more ebooks lately.
The last book I read: The Ghostwriter by Alessandra Torre--it was great!
Pen & paper or computer: Computer.
Book character I think I’d be best friends with: Again, the clown from IT. Seems like a real interesting guy.
If I wasn’t an author, I’d be a: Something creative, probably something to do with writing.
Favorite decade in fashion history: 1980s all the way!
Place I’d most like to travel: I usually just go back home to Iowa when I have time to travel, so I'd probably say there.
My signature drink: A watercress/pineapple smoothie
Number one on my bucket list: Nothing specific. Just enjoy every day.
