Author of ALL POSSIBLE ORBITS

ALL POSSIBLE ORBITS is my latest novel and is set in Natchez, Mississippi. It's protagonist, Tucker Merrill, is faced with returning to his hometown and all the dysfunctional people he left behind when he left nearly twenty years before. However, before he can reconcile his past and present, he'll have to steer clear of a group of Neo-Nazi's hellbent on kick-starting a race war in the 21st century shambles of the Old South.

Favorite place to read a book: In my favorite chair beside my bearded dragon

Book character I’d like to be stuck in an elevator with: Ford Prefect from The Hitchhikers Guide to the Galaxy. He's a Hoopy Frood who always knows where his towel is. (If you know, you know."

The moment I knew I wanted to become an author: The first time I read Hunter S. Thompson's Songs of the Doomed when I was 16.

Hardback, paperback, ebook or audiobook: paperback

The last book I read: Shadows of a Name by Gwyn Barber Ross

Pen & paper or computer: Definitely computer. I'm way too impatient to write the whole thing on paper. Plus, my handwriting is atrocious.

Book character I think I’d be best friends with: Kinky Friedman from any Kinky Friedman book. That man is a gem and I would love to spend an afternoon smoking cigars while talking politics, the terrible state of country music, and just how in the hell he lost his bid for Governor of Texas.

If I weren’t an author, I’d be a: Professional Musician. And, let me clarify. I wanted to be a musician first and I asked the great deity in the sky to grant my wish. In doing so, I learned a valuable lessons about deities. They are very hung up on specificity. I became a professional musician, as requested. However, I forgot to ask to be incredibly wealthy and successful. So, just fyi, always make sure to ask for the money.

Favorite decade in fashion history: The 1970's would have suited me well as I am a tee shirt/jeans kind of guy.

Place I’d most like to travel: Bora Bora.

My signature drink: Coffee. Once it was scotch, but we had a falling out.

Favorite artist: David Gilmour of Pink Floyd

Number one on my bucket list: Visit Scotland with my wife where I can buy a kilt and a decorative knife to strap to my leg.
