Tom Collins

Merry Christmas to me! @jackrudycocktailco sent me a package full of cocktail ingredients to play around with and I’m discovering they make more than the perfect tonic syrup. (If you haven’t tried my Gin and Tonic recipe, you’re missing out!) Inspired by their Signature Collins glass, I mixed up a classic Tom Collins. Did you know that the name of the cocktail originated from a hoax that was like the 1874 version of Rickrolling?

INGREDIENTS:
- 2oz @tanquerayusa Malacca gin
- 1oz @jackrudycocktailco Demerara syrup
- 3/4oz lemon juice
- Club soda
- @luxardousa cherry for garnish

DIRECTIONS:
Pour Malacca gin, Demerara syrup, and lemon juice into a glass filled with ice. Top with club soda. Garnish with a lemon wedge or @luxardousa cherry. I prefer the Luxardo cherry because you get just a hint of that delicious cherry syrup at the top. Yum! #ahastycocktail
