The moment I knew I wanted to become an author: When I left the Today Show, it was the first time in my career or life that I wasn’t working. I started work at age 14 so in that downtime between the Today Show and starting my own show, it gave me time to reflect on other goals and this was buried deep inside that I was able to uncover.

Author Bio: Emmy® Award-winning talk show host Tamron Hall is the host and executive producer of the popular nationally syndicated talk show “Tamron Hall.” Formerly of the “Today Show,” she has also hosted six seasons of “Deadline: Crime” on Investigation Discovery. While at NBC, she was a recipient of the Edward R. Murrow Award for her report on domestic abuse. Tamron currently serves as an advocate for domestic violence awareness.
