Favorite place to read a book: I listen to audiobooks, so either listening in my room while working or on my daily walks around downtown NY.
Book character I’d like to be stuck in an elevator with: Nymphadora Tonks from Harry Potter. I think we’d get out quickly, and then hang out the rest of the day.
The moment I knew I wanted to become an author: Not until I met my literary agent, Joy in 2015. Her belief in my potential is the reason this book exists.
Hardback, paperback, ebook or audiobook: Audiobook! I am a very slow reader, and an auditory learner, so listening to audiobooks and drawing is something I’ve done since I was little.
The last book I read: If Beale Street Could Talk- James Baldwin
Pen & paper or computer: scrap piece of paper and pen
Book character I think I’d be best friends with: Antoinette Conway in The Trespasser by Tana French
If I wasn’t an author, I’d be a: music supervisor for movies, truck driver, animator, set designer for Tim Walker, prosthetic cover designer, trend researcher, movie title creator.
Favorite decade in fashion history: 60's space age mod or 70’s Glam Rock
Place I’d most like to travel: The Aogashima Volcano in Japan, The White Temple in Thailand, Neuschwanstein Castle in Bavaria (in winter), Cleopatra’s Pool in Turkey, Ballynoe Stone Circle in Ireland, Hallsatt in Austria, The Glacier Express in the Swiss Alps.
My signature drink: Tito's vodka neat with lime
Favorite artist: New York portrait painter: Alice Neel. No one paints hands like her.
Number one on my bucket list: I just arrived at a place where I’m able to want things for my future self beyond work. So nothing on my bucket list at the moment, but I’m getting there.
