I love going out to restaurants, trying new foods, watching documentaries about chefs, and reading about chefs in history. The Chef’s Secret by Crystal King is about Bartolomeo Scappi, a chef to several popes and author to one of the best-selling cook book of all time. One of the things I most love about historical fiction is that I get to learn about interesting people that I otherwise would have never known about!
