HBL Note: This one is to be read in a private space with a box of tissues nearby. I teared up just reading the publicist’s email telling me about the book. I can only imagine the tears I would shed reading the emails the author wrote to her late boyfriend. Suicide is a difficult topic to discuss, and I imagine even more difficult for those who were close to someone who committed suicide. Sarah Neustadter was a third-year doctoral student in psychology when her boyfriend committed suicide, providing her a unique perspective? ability to process? skills to analyze? I’m not sure what word or phrase I’m looking for here, but her education certainly provided her something unique that led to this raw and emotional book. Scroll down to read more.
