Hi.

Welcome to Hasty Book List, where I document and review the books I read. Hope you have a nice stay!

Julianne's Big Move

Julianne's Big Move

Julianne is a Welsh terrier who is moving from the only home she has known. Leaving friends she has known her whole life is hard! Julianne quickly learns that her new home feels just like home when her things are unpacked and she starts making new friends. This delightful book is perfect for anyone who is facing a new challenge, whether it be moving or starting over. Written by former elementary school teacher Dede Peterson, Dede is very familiar with packing up and starting over being married to a retired USAF Officer. The illustrations are delightful and created by Suzy Lorenz, a retired high school art teacher. She too is familiar with moving, as she is the daughter of an Army-Air Force veteran. Both are avid dog moms to Scout, Chip, Stella, and Mabel.

Highly recommended for kids of all ages, from 5-95, who are picking up and starting over in a new place. This lovely book will remind you that kindness, courage, and appreciation go a long way in helping to establish you in a new home.
