My work spans all genres from literary fiction to celebrity biographies. I currently live in New York City with my husband and two daughters.

Inspiration for Anywhere You Run by Wanda M. Morris:
I had worked on Wanda Morris’s first novel, All Her Little Secrets, and everyone on the team wanted to continue the look we had for that cover.
Anywhere You Run takes place in the Jim Crow era, where two black sisters are on the run after the murder of a white man. It was a challenge finding a photograph that checked all the boxes, so Simon Morgan from Arcangel Images offered to do a custom shoot for us. I collaborated with the author and editor to pick everything from the models to hairstyles and outfits. Photographer Lauren Rautenbach gave us so many amazing options, it was hard to narrow it down to one. The image that was ultimately chosen fits the mood of the novel perfectly, and I love where we ended up.
