HBL Note: I am so happy to be featuring another Hilary Davidson book. I first featured her in 2019 with the release of One Small Sacrifice, the first of two books in the Shadows of New York series. Hilary, the winner of two Anthony Awards, is a master at creating suspense and keeping those pages turning. One of the worst curses I can think if is predicting your own murder, which is what happens to Hilary’s protagonist, Caroline.
