Book character I’d like to be stuck in an elevator with: Joshua from The Hating Game

The moment I knew I wanted to become an author: I can’t remember ever not wanting to be one! For a long time, I didn’t think it was realistic, so I pursued other careers before I found my way back to writing after college.

Hardback, paperback, ebook or audiobook: Audiobook! I’m usually in the middle of one of each format at any given time, but I go through 3-5 audiobooks/month.

The last book I read: Something to Talk About by Meryl Wilsner

Pen & paper or computer: Computer

Book character I think I’d be best friends with: Meg Mackworth from Love Lettering by Kate Clayborn

If I wasn’t an author, I’d be a: Public radio producer (one of my past jobs!)

Favorite decade in fashion history: 1950s—I love swing skirts and Peter Pan collars

Place I’d most like to travel: Japan

My signature drink: Chai latte

Favorite artist: Roy Lichtenstein

Number one on my bucket list: Take a pasta-making class in Italy
