Favorite place to read a book: Listening to an audio book, walking on Black Point Beach on Martha's Vineyard at low tide so the sand is nice and hard.
Book character I’d like to be stuck in an elevator with: Daenerys Targaryen from A Song of Fire and Ice just to hear what it's like to ride a dragon.

The moment I knew I wanted to become an author: When I walked into Caroline Ferriday's house in Bethlehem, Connecticut.

The last book I read: Lily and the Octopus by the talented Steven Rowley. I appreciate my dog a million times more now.

Book character I think I’d be best friends with: Lizzie Bennet. I know everyone says Lizzie, but I think we'd really connect since I also like to walk and read, and I'd love hanging out at Pemberley.

If I wasn’t an author, I’d be a: Cheesemaker. I love cheese. And that big knife they use. Four Fat Fowl's St. Stephen is my current obsession.
Favorite decade in fashion history: The fifties. The jewelry and clothes in the movie Carol are just the best.
Place I’d most like to travel: Bali. Love Mexico, too. Long Connecticut winters make me yearn for sun.
My signature drink: Titos vodka and soda with a splash of cranberry.
Favorite artist: John Singer Sargent. Love his portraits, but Carnation, Lily, Lily, Rose most.

Number one on my bucket list: To live in Carmel California and hike every day.
