Author Interview - Jennifer Estep
Author I draw inspiration from: Robin McKinley. Her book Beauty is one of my all-time favorite reads. It’s a lovely retelling of the Beauty and the Beast fairy tale.
Favorite place to read a book: At home on my couch in complete silence.
Book character I’d like to be stuck in an elevator with: James Bond. Because I love spy stories and something interesting always happens when Bond is around.
The moment I knew I wanted to become an author: When I was in college and starting writing my very first (unpublished) book. I got bitten by the writing bug back then, and I’ve never stopped wanting to write since then.
Hardback, paperback, ebook or audiobook: Definitely a print book.
The last book I read: The Frame-Up by Meghan Scott Molin
Pen & paper or computer: Computer
Book character I think I’d be best friends with: Hermoine from the Harry Potter series. We both love reading, books, and libraries. LOL.
If I wasn’t an author, I’d be a: Librarian
Favorite decade in fashion history: The 1980s just because the clothes, colors, etc. were so outrageous and over the top.
Place I’d most like to travel: Alaska
My signature drink: Lemonade
Favorite artist: The Killers
Number one on my bucket list: Travel to more places, like Alaska
Anything else you'd like to add: Happy reading, everyone! :)
