Favorite place to read a book: In my favorite chair, in the jungle atmosphere of my backyard, with my dogs around me.
Book character I’d like to be stuck in an elevator with: Tom Wingo in The Prince of Tides, he made me fall in love with him and want to live in the low country.
The moment I knew I wanted to become an author: When we had disastrous flood in my small town in the mountains of Kentucky and I wrote my first poem.

Favorite decade in fashion history: Having worked in the industry, I don't have a favorite. I have loved many trends from each decade which ultimately just come around again. Though I love classic style that will always remain.
Place I’d most like to travel: Africa, which me feel as if I had been born again.
