HBL Note: Two of my favorite genres come together in The Broken Girls by Simone St. James. This book is part historical fiction and part murder mystery - I can’t imagine a better combination. The synopsis of this book reminds me just a bit of What She Left Behind by Ellen Marie Wiseman, which I read back in 2015! This one may lean a bit further in the mystery side of the combination…we shall see! I can’t wait to hear what you think of this book.
