How did you prepare to narrate The Wedding Veil by Kristy Woodson Harvey?
I was so excited to have the opportunity to voice Cornelia for The Wedding Veil. I’ve been fascinated with Cornelia ever since my first visit to the “Halloween Room” at the Biltmore Estate as a teenager. Fortunately, my recent move to Weaverville, NC enables me to visit the estate fairly often, so I spent some time wandering the grounds, exploring the evocative murals in the Halloween Room and envisioning Cornelia’s life there. I also re-read passages from Denise Kiernan’s The Last Castle to gain insight on the time period, Cornelia’s upbringing at Biltmore and her relationships with her family.
