Bio:
The west coast will always be home. This is where I graduated from college, met my husband, and was offered my dream job: designing book covers. I worked for Faceout Studio in Central Oregon for over a year, before leaving to stay home with my first baby girl.
However, I soon found myself missing cover design, which led me to pursue my own business. I’ve been freelancing ever since, and it’s very hard to imagine a better job. I am privileged to work with some amazing people on inspiring projects—while still being able to spend plenty of time with my kids, my husband, and my squished-faced dogs.
Inspiration for The Kennedy Debutante by Kerri Maher:
This cover was really about capturing the character, setting, and tone of the book. Trevillion had some beautiful images of formal women and of London that I was able to use, and I worked very closely with my art director to make sure all the details were covered. I also really enjoyed finding type that felt appropriate for the time period.
