What Nell Dreams
Book Feature - What Nell Dreams by Anne Leigh Parrish
HBL Note: I first featured Anne Leigh Parrish on this blog last year with the publication of her novel, Maggie’s Ruse. It brings me to joy when authors reach back out to me when they have new books to feature, it tells me I must be doing something right. :) Anne has not one, but two, novels coming out in the next six months. First is What Nell Dreams, a novella and collection of short stories. Scroll down to read more about this book and for a sneak peek of her next book which I’ll be featuring in March.
From the publisher:
In sixteen short stories and a novella, Anne Leigh Parrish explores the magic of life, love, and the soft boundary between fact and fantasy. The wife of an artist disappears under mysterious circumstances; a woman has the gift of taking away sorrow; another finds inner strength through writing poetry; and a great-grandmother spends the day sitting on a folding chair in a grocery store parking lot, contemplating the nature of the human heart. What Nell Dreams is Parrish's eighth book of fiction.
