HBL Note: My very favorite thing about this blog is connecting with other authors. Suzette saw the post on My Most-Anticipated Historical Novels of 2022 and reached out to me about her 2 (TWO) novels coming out this year. The first, THE DUST BOWL ORPHANS, is historical fiction and is out now. It is a dual timeline story alternating between 1935 at the end of the Dust Bowl that swept through the Southern Plains, and the story of a present day archivist who stumbles upon an old photo of a girl who looks just like her.
