HBL Note: I am a huge dog lover. If you know just one thing about me (besides I love reading) it should be that I love dogs. Which is probably why I’m drawn to Annie England Noblin’s books, which have included Sit! Stay! Speak!, Pupcakes and the St. Francis Society for Wayward Pets. MAPS FOR THE GETAWAY includes a so-ugly-it’s-cute stray dog in its cast of characters in a story about four high school friends who vow to remain friends forever but drift apart over 30 years.
