HBL Note: I feature a lot of Jayne Ann Krentz’s books written under the alias of Amanda Quick (under which she writes historical romances) including Tightrope and Close-Up. I think this might be the first book I’ve featured credited to Jayne Ann Krentz (the name under which she writes contemporary romantic suspense novels.) Regardless of the name on the cover, they are all well-written and extremely popular books, as evidenced by Jayne being a New York Times bestselling author.
