Author I draw inspiration from: Jodi Picoult (Click here for my list of Best Jodi Picoult Books)

Favorite place to read a book: There's a particularly cozy chair in a nook in my bedroom.

Book character I’d like to be stuck in an elevator with: Any character crafted by Charity Norman, even those who appear to be villains. Her characters are universally briliant, complex and intruiging.

The moment I knew I wanted to become an author: As a child, reading Heidi by Johanna Spyri. It's no exaggeration to say that the magic of that book changed the course of my life.

Hardback, paperback, ebook or audiobook: Any and all formats are fine with me. I often have a print book, an ebook and an audio on the go at the same time.

The last book I read: The Forest of Vanishing Stars by Kristin Harmel (it was incredible)

Pen & paper or computer: I write on computer, but my notes are always handwritten.

Book character I think I’d be best friends with: Eileen from Beth O'Leary's The Switch. We'd drink tea together all day!!

If I weren’t an author, I’d be a: My previous profession was in IT, however I think if I had to chose another non-writing related profession these days, I'd go to university and study politics and history and see where that lead me!!

Favorite decade in fashion history: I live in sweats and jeans. I don't think I'm qualifed to answer this question!!

Place I’d most like to travel: At the moment, I'd be grateful to travel anywhere!! But I've never been to South America and I hope to one day rectify that.

My signature drink: Coffee, with a coffee on the side.

Favorite artist: Cass Bland. She's an artist who lives in rural Australia, not far from me.

Number one on my bucket list: I've never seen a musical on the West End. When the pandemic is over I'm going to make that happen!!
