The moment I knew I wanted to become an author: When I was eight years old and holed up in my hot-pink bedroom writing stories. I loved it so much I knew I had to do it for the rest of my life, even if I never got published!

Pen & paper or computer: Computer! Though I got the idea for my first adult novel, WE WERE MOTHERS, on an airplane, and I still have those handwritten notes jotted down.
Book character I think I’d be best friends with: I'd like to be friends with any of Fiona Davis's historical heroines :)

Number one on my bucket list: Right now with quarantine going on, I keep dreaming about taking a vacation with my husband and our four children... maybe to Europe, a historic city where we could go to museums and eat together in cafes.
