Book character I’d like to be stuck in an elevator with: Christian Grey. Just kidding. Let’s go with James Bond. He’d get me out quick, right? Or at least have a martini we could share.
The moment I knew I wanted to become an author: When I was nine my class had a writing workshop where they turned down the lights and gave you blank journals where you could write anything. It was basically magic.

The last book I read: Less by Andrew Sean Greer

Book character I think I’d be best friends with: Bridget Jones
If I wasn’t an author, I’d be an: interior designer with a whole lot of journals.
Favorite decade in fashion history: Seventies. Give me some disco fashion anytime.
Place I’d most like to travel: Seoul (I love big cities and I’m a K-beauty junkie.)
My signature drink: London Fog during the day, Champagne at night.
Favorite artist: Romaine Brooks
Number one on my bucket list: Be able to say: “Oh, I’m afraid I can’t make it. I’ll be at my pied-à-terre in Paris.”
Anything else you'd like to add: There are a lot of books out there, I’m always very appreciative when someone chooses one of mine.
