The moment I knew I wanted to become an author: I was seven years old. I read JAMES AND THE GIANT PEACH, and knew I wanted to do for others what Roald Dahl had done for me with his transportive story.

The last book I read: I just finished and was incredibly moved by SHADOWS OF BERLIN, by David R Gillham.

If I weren’t an author, I’d be a: I'd be a teacher. I'm always teaching in some capacity (currently in Faith Formation at my church) and writing.

Favorite decade in fashion history: The Jazz Age

Place I’d most like to travel: I yearn to spend a month in Italy.

My signature drink: Black Coffee

Favorite artist: I love Peruvian artist, Diana Mendoza, who uses gold and silver leafing with oil on canvas to create sacred art.

Number one on my bucket list: Touring the Holy Land
