Author I draw inspiration from: Ayn Rand is number one on my list. I read her books when I was younger. Atlas Shrugged is one of my favorites as well as Father Son and Company by Thomas Whatson Jr.
Favorite place to read a book: My home in the Hamptons, either by the pool or cozy on my Moroccon day bed.
Book character I’d like to be stuck in an elevator with: I wouldn’t mind being stuck in an elevator with Christian Grey...
The moment I knew I wanted to become an author: I’ve always loved writing. A little “fun fact” is when I was in a senior in high school my creative writing teacher suggested I become a writer. Isn’t it funny how these pieces of advice can go full circle! I’ve published two Home Improvement/self -help books but 4 years ago, while sitting by my pool, it dawned on me that I needed to tell my story, I started writing and never stopped!

Book character I think I’d be best friends with: Definitely Bridget Steele from my novel Heels of Steel - she is fabulous and tough as nails!
If I wasn’t an author, I’d be a: I am CEO and Founder of Evergreen Construction, one of the few female-owned construction companies in New York City.
Favorite decade in fashion history: 1970s
Place I’d most like to travel: Thailand
My signature drink: Don Julio 1942 on the rocks
Favorite artist: Guns N’ Roses
Number one on my bucket list: Build a Manhattan skyscraper!
