10 Books I'm Looking Forward to Reading this Spring

(and what to read while you wait!)

Is it too soon to start thinking about Spring? I’m already counting down the days to warmer weather! I’m also looking forward to a number of great books coming out in 2019!

Join me at the Spencer Road Branch Library in St. Peters, MO on Thursday March 7 at 7pm! I’ll be presenting the 10 books I’m most looking forward to reading this Spring…and what I recommend reading while you wait for those books to be published.

The 10 books I’ll feature in this talk will:

• have a publication date between March 20 and June 21

• include a variety of genres…a little something for everyone

• include some of my favorite, go-to authors

At the end we’ll have time for a general book discussion and I’ll be happy to answer any questions you might have about books! I can’t wait to see you all there.

New to Hasty Book List? A little about me…

I am a native Missouri girl, born and raised in Columbia and Jeff City. I went to Stephens College for undergrad and then the University of Missouri for my Masters and PhD in fashion history. I lived in Bloomington, IN for 7 years while I taught collegiate classes at Indiana University before my husband and I moved to Chicago for his career. Now we are back in Missouri and I’m teaching online courses for Indiana State University while also reading (a LOT) and reviewing each book on this site. I also do author interviews, book talks, and I host a virtual book club! I hope you all can make it to my first book talk at the Spencer Road Branch on March 7! See you all then!
