Bio: Merritt is a Carnegie Mellon Drama alumni living in Los Angeles California. She has acted in many staged productions and on screen since her graduation. Most notably, she has appeared in Cold Case, Felicity, Jay and Silent Bob Strike Back, and Nash Bridges. She is currently voicing the 2022 KIA motors campaign. She has narrated thirty audiobook titles and she was the lead singer in the rock band Stealing Venus from 2003-2009

How did you prepare to narrate Kiya and the Morian Treasure by R.S. Mellette?
I didn't do much beyond reading it and really searching for what other characters say about each other and themselves. I love to just let the world flow out while I'm reading. I get very involved emotionally as I travel through the novel and this one was no exception. Robert did such a great job creating these rich characters and I hope I did an equally valiant job bringing them to life. He made my assignment so much easier!

I mostly do commercial on camera and commercial voice over work. I love narrating audiobooks because I am such an avid reader and it brings me joy to paint these worlds for people to experience. I am a full time mom of two boys and full time driver for them as well, which is expensive these days. I am always auditioning for television and film and am delighted to occasionally work in those areas of the industry.
