How did you prepare to narrate A Dog of Many Names by Douglas Green?

Doug sent me a copy to read, and I was immediately drawn in. I burst into tears multiple times during that first read-through, thanks to Doug’s moving storytelling! I kept a running list of all the characters; and created  mini-bios for each character to determine what they would sound like, what made them unique. We recorded  the narration over the course of two days, and I had to fight back tears even as I narrated.
