“Animal Farm” by George Orwell

However, the pigs, who lead the animals, become corrupt and oppressive, causing the other animals to realize they aren't better off than they were under the human owner. The book is a critique of totalitarianism and political corruption, showing how even well-intentioned revolutions can be corrupted. "Animal Farm" is a classic of political satire and remains relevant today, 80 years after its publication.
