We Met in December
Book Review - We Met in December by Rosie Curtis
There is something about the holiday season that makes me gravitate toward cute romantic tales. I kept getting We Met in December by Rosie Curtis and A Day in December by Josie Silver mixed up in my head…so I decided to read both! Why choose just one winter romance when you can read two? Although they have similar titles and covers, they were very different books! Click here to read my review of A Day in December and continue on to read my review of We Met in December.
We Met in December by Rosie Curtis was a cute story about Jess who moves into a house with an old friend when she comes to London to pursue a new life in the big city. Her friend gives her inexpensive rent with the sole request that the roommates not engage in relationships in order to keep the peace while everyone is living under one roof. The problem? Jess immediately falls for Alex, one of her new roommates. The book follows their first year as roommates and friends. Will Jess and Alex end up together? Or will Alex fall for their other roommate, Emma…Jess already caught Emma coming out of Alex’s room early one morning.
This was exactly what you’d hope for in an easy, breezy rom com. It is the perfect book to curl up with by the fire while it is snowing outside. Maybe your eyes need a break from your Hallmark movie marathon but your soul needs another lovey dovey tale? If that sounds like you, run out and get yourself a copy of We Met in December by Rosie Curtis.
