Book Review - How to Save a Life by Liz Fenton and Lisa Steinke

I first heard about Liz Fenton and Lisa Steinke when I featured their book The Two Lila Bennetts. I was taken by the multiverse plotline which I’ve come to adore through reading Maybe in Another Life by Taylor Jenkins Reid and Dark Matter by Blake Crouch. Another plotline I love is the time loop idea (think Groundhog’s Day, Russian Doll, and Palm Springs)…which brings me to How to Save a Life.

But on their first date together since reuniting, Dom is severely injured and Mia dies in a horrific carnival accident. Anyone who is a fan of the time loop plotline knows there is always something that gets the characters out and back on the normal track of their lives. What I loved about How to Save a Life is that I didn’t predict what would get Dom out of the loop until very near the end. It had a nice twist and solid ending that would leave any romantic and realist happy.
