Love a Book By Its Cover - Book Jacket Designs by Corina Lupp:
Born in Buenos Aires, Argentina, I immigrated to the United States and have since lived and worked in New Jersey and New York. I received my BFA from The Cooper Union for the Advancement of Science and Art. I’ve worked in the publishing industry for quite a few years now, designing books of various formats for all ages, but mostly for children and young adults.
Inspiration for THE CHANDLER LEGACIES by Abdi Nazemian:
The story follows five characters as they navigate the problematic culture of their school and their relationships with each other to find their voices as writers, so it was important to show the group interacting together. Including the boarding school setting was also key. We worked with the illustrator on a scene and palette that feels inviting and almost nostalgic, but there’s also some tension and darkness under the surface.
