HBL Note: I’ve had the opportunity to feature Nicci French, English husband-and-wife team Nicci Gerrard and Sean French, once before on this blog when I featured The House of Correction. I was thrilled (see what I did there? Because they write thrillers…) when I was offered another title by them. If I’ve learned anything from horror movies or thriller novels, it is that children are super creepy. In THE UNHEARD, a child draws a disturbing picture (creepy) leading her mother to believe she witnessed a horrible crime. But in trying to discover what happened, she is led down a deadly path.
