The Heights
Book Feature - The Heights by Louise Candlish
HBL Note: I fell in love with Louise Candlish books when I read Our House (that ending…amiright?) Such notable authors as Lisa Jewell, Ruth Ware, B.A. Paris, and Lucy Foley have sung her praises. Since then, I’ve featured other books by Louise including, Those People, The Other Passenger (which you can read a preview of here), and now her latest novel, THE HEIGHTS. Ellen Saint’s son was killed in a tragic accident, leading to her to obsess over the young man who supposedly killed him. But then we get Vic’s side of the story, and her ex-husband remembers things a bit differently. Scroll down to read more about THE HEIGHTS by Louise Candlish.
From the publisher:
The Heights is a tall, slender apartment building among warehouses in London. Its roof terrace is so discreet, you wouldn’t know it existed if you weren’t standing at the window of the flat directly opposite. But you are. And that’s when you see a man up there—a man you’d recognize anywhere. He may be older now, but it’s definitely him.
But that can’t be because he’s been dead for over two years. You know this for a fact.
Because you’re the one who killed him.
