Author of Diary of an Angry Young Man
Set in Bombay in 1992 and Mumbai in 2012, and inspired by true events, Diary of an Angry Young Man is a coming-of-age urban drama that explores the complex layers of humanity. And the city that engenders them.
Author I draw inspiration from: I read mostly European Crime Fiction Authors translated into English. No one specific.
Favorite place to read a book: On the beach, by the sea
Book character I’d like to be stuck in an elevator with: Guido Brunetti from Donna Leon's crime fiction series.
The moment I knew I wanted to become an author: After finishing writing my first book, I realized that this is how I wanted to connect with the world.
Hardback, paperback, ebook or audiobook: E-book hands down! It's so convenient!
The last book I read: Consider This by Chuck Palahniuk
Pen & paper or computer: Computer! My handwriting is like a doctor's prescription!
Book character I think I’d be best friends with: Harry Potter by J.K. Rowling because every moment would be an adventure!
If I weren’t an author, I’d be a: An aspiring author.
Favorite decade in fashion history: The 60's! Funky and expressive clothes, and no stress of mixing and matching!
Place I’d most like to travel: Rome.
My signature drink: Coconut water.
Favorite artist: Jon Bon Jovi
Number one on my bucket list: For my books to be in the hands of readers all over the world.

Author Bio: A past filmmaker, Green MBA and Wine Specialist, Rishi Vohra has authored four novels, ‘Diary of an Angry Young Man,’ 'I am M-M-Mumbai,' 'HiFi in Bollywood' and 'Once Upon the Tracks of Mumbai.' His short story, The Mysterious Couple, was featured in Sudha Murty’s anthology – Something Happened on the Way to Heaven, and another short story, Kaala Baba, in Neil D’Silva’s urban horror anthology – City of Screams.
His other short stories include The Saas-Bahu Conflict which was published in the HBB Horror Microfiction Anthology 2020, The Mysterious Kitchen in the HBB Horror Microfiction Anthology 2021 and In Your Eyes in Tell me Your Story’s LGBTQ anthology Pride, Not Prejudice : Decriminalising Love.
