Book character I’d like to be stuck in an elevator with: Sirius Black from Harry Potter. I think he’d have great stories, and it doesn’t hurt that he can do magic.
The moment I knew I wanted to become an author: I had a near-death experience aged 22 that made me realise how much I wanted to be an author. I wrote my first book a month later!
Hardback, paperback, ebook or audiobook: Paperback. I love turning actual pages, and it fits in my handbag.
The last book I read: Sorrow and Bliss by Meg Mason. It’s beautiful.
Pen & paper or computer: Computer for writing my book. Pen and paper for journaling.
Book character I think I’d be best friends with: Elizabeth Bennett from Pride and Prejudice.
If I weren’t an author, I’d be a: classicist. I love the Ancient Romans and Greeks

Place I’d most like to travel: Uganda. Both my parents were born there but I’ve never been

Number one on my bucket list: To be fluent in Italian. It’s a work in progress.
