Author Bio: Margaux Porter is an up-and-coming author, specializing in emotional steamy romance novels. No subject is off limits (margauxporter.com/contentwarning), and the steam is a notch or two below erotica. She’d always wanted to write stories and spent most of high school daydreaming about being an author (after writing umpteen thousand poems about romance).

Stuck in a nine to five and dreaming about something that would give her more time at home with her husband and kids, she wrote her first romance novel in the summer of 2020 and she didn’t stop. With three books written, it’s time to edit them and get them out to the world.

Her debut is a steamy, emotional, trauma romance set in Stirling Harbor, Maine, a fictional town at the base of mountains. The Stirling Harbor series follows seven brothers who have their share of trials with a bit of chaos thrown in. She hopes to keep the town buzzing with more spin off stories of hard-working men, strong women, and a bit of intrigue.

Margaux is an avid fan of romance in any genre, but loves contemporary, sci-fi, PNR and fantasy most. You might find her penning another name under one of those genres in the future.

She likes to create vulnerable characters who “find” themselves in the story and get their HEA.
