Favorite place to read a book: In bed late at night

Book character I’d like to be stuck in an elevator with: I usually get attached to the protagonist from the book I am currently reading. So right now I'd like to have a moment in an elevator with Astrid from All Adults Here!

The moment I knew I wanted to become an author: When the story just wanted to burst out of me.

Hardback, paperback, ebook or audiobook: I'd have to say ebook for the last couple of years because I traveled so much

The last book I read: Sofonisba by Chiara Montani

Book character I think I’d be best friends with: The count in Gentleman in Moscow

If I wasn’t an author, I’d be a: I have to say I already wear two hats - artist and author

Favorite decade in fashion history: Mini skirts and hot pants (before your time!!)

Place I’d most like to travel: Born in Paris, but lived in Australia, Israel and the US for extended periods. I'd like to visit Morocco and Estonia next...

My signature drink: Tea with milk!!!!!

Favorite artist: Oh boy - too many to list. From Rodin and Manet to Sainer Etam and Zoey Frank

Number one on my bucket list: Get through this pandemic in one piece…

Author Bio: Internationally acclaimed artist Lilianne Milgrom holds two degrees from Melbourne University and an associate degree from the Academy of Art in San Francisco. She exhibits her artwork around the world and is the recipient of multiple awards. In 2011, she became the first authorized copyist of Gustave Courbet’s controversial painting L’Origine du Monde (The Origin of the World), which hangs in the Orsay Museum in Paris and draws over a million visitors a year. Milgrom spent close to a decade researching and writing L’Origine. She lives in the greater Washington, DC, area with her husband while her grown children have spread their wings and are exploring the world.
