Author Interview - Jamie Brenner

Author I draw inspiration from: I’m inspired by the authors I grew up reading in the 1970s and 1980s: I was influenced by writers like Norma Klein, who really delved into family drama. Favorite place to read a book: In bed.

Book character I’d like to be stuck in an elevator with: Whatever character happens to being carrying anti-anxiety medication.

The last book I read: Sunset Beach by Mary Kay Andrews

Pen & paper or computer: A combination – when I get stuck, I move away from the computer and force myself to write on a legal pad.

Book character I think I’d be best friends with: Billy Ikehorn Orsini from Scruples
