Author I draw inspiration from: Carlos Ruiz Zafon
Favorite place to read a book: My living room couch
The moment I knew I wanted to become an author: After I gave birth to my twins, I would practice writing and read books on writing at every opportunity.
Hardback, paperback, ebook or audiobook: Hardback. I get most of my books from the library. I have so many books in my house that I really can't buy anymore. I guess I'm old-fashioned because I have no desire to even try ebooks.
The last book I read: The Tea Planter's Wife by Dinah Jefferies. Intriguing story with descriptions of breathtaking landscape. Jefferies raises many issues that would make this book an excellent book club selection.
Pen & paper or computer: I write on a computer but I jot down ideas that come to me with pen and paper.
If I weren’t an author, I’d be a: Librarian. I love to be surrounded by books.
Favorite decade in fashion history: The fifties. I used to watch "Happy Days" and loved the women's outfits.
Place I’d most like to travel: Australia. From pictures, it looks like a beautiful country filled with friendly people. And they speak English so there is no language barrier.
Favorite artist: Celine Dion. What a voice!
Number one on my bucket list: Travel the world. There are so many unique places in the world to see and experience. Whenever I read a book that takes place in a foreign land, I feel as if I have been there even though I never left my living room couch. Also, travel provides me inspiration to write.
Author Bio: I taught English, served as a correspondent for a local newspaper, and worked as a newsletter editor. In addition to writing, I am available for copyediting, proofreading, and SEO copywriting projects. Words are my passion.
