Favorite place to read a book: Bed.
Book character I’d like to be stuck in an elevator with: Dickens’s Mr. Micawber because he’s an optimist. Or, even better, Albus Dumbledore – he’d get us out quickly!
The moment I knew I wanted to become an author: When my mother read me The Lion, The Witch and The Wardrobe (I think I was about 5)

The last book I read: Us by David Nicholls
Pen & paper or computer: Pen and paper.
Book character I think I’d be best friends with: Actually, I’d love to be best friends with Dan Hollis (the harp-maker in my own novel). He makes me laugh and charms the socks off me.
If I wasn’t an author, I’d be a: Harpist (oh, I already am!)
Favorite decade in fashion history: Medieval (OK, that’s several decades but you get the idea)
Place I’d most like to travel: The Inca Trail.
My signature drink: Odd fruity mixes e.g. strawberry, banana and spinach smoothies.
Favorite artist: Jackie Morris.
Number one on my bucket list: Plant a forest.
