The moment I knew I wanted to become an author: When I won a writing competition in 6th grade
Hardback, paperback, ebook or audiobook: Hardback. I love to touch, smell, and write notes all over the pages.
The last book I read: Warlight by Michael Ondaatje
Pen & paper or computer: Computer. Can't write a thing by hand anymore. Can't even read my own grocery lists.
Book character I think I’d be best friends with: Scout Finch (she’d be older than I am by now)
If I wasn’t an author, I’d be a: I am also a scientist, which I love.
Favorite decade in fashion history: Sorry I don’t know one fashion decade from another; whenever blue jeans appeared would be my favorite.
Place I’d most like to travel: Mars with Matt Damon
My signature drink: Deep, smooth Cabernet Sauvignon
Favorite artist: My two-year old grand-nephew, Sam
Number one on my bucket list: Promote my novel in Paris and write the next one.
