The Power of Habit
Book Review - The Power of Habit: Why We Do What We Do in Life and Business by Charles Duhigg
I chose this book as one of my student reading group books for the fall 2015 semester. We finished it just before the end of the semester, which was perfect timing. The Power of Habit is an excellent book to read before you commit to a 2016 New Year Resolution. It describes how to give up bad habits and replace them with good ones. It is one of those books that is best read as a hard copy so you can take notes in the margins. I also really enjoyed discussing it in a group setting so that we could set goals as we read along and hold one another accountable for keeping those goals.
If you read this book, I would love to hear what bad habits you were able to get rid of and what new habits you were able to form! Join the conversation on Facebook!
